COESI Policies
These policies set out the core standards of the Centre of Excellence for Sensory Impairment:
Accessibility
Our website is specifically designed to be as accessible as possible (albeit limited within our funding envelope as a charity) and as a priority COESI will endeavour to keep up to date with internet technology.
View our Accessibility Policies.
Linking Policy
The Centre of Excellence for Sensory Impairment website includes links to many external websites. These links are provided to give users quick access to high quality and impartial information on local and national sensory impairment services, equipment and adaptations.

Equal Opportunities
COESI recognises that certain groups and individuals in society are disadvantaged because of discrimination as a result of age, race, colour, nationality, belief, religion, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, physical or mental disability, HIV status, or class.
We will do everything we can to challenge prejudice and discrimination and promote equality.
We will work to ensure we all have an anti-discriminatory environment, and we will take appropriate action wherever instances of discrimination and harassment occur, in the delivery of services and in the course of employment.

The Green Business Commitment
We care passionately about the environment and do our very best at all times to deliver truly eco-friendly green office services.
COESI has an environmental policy which covers our office and the way we do business.
We are always striving to enhance and expand on this policy.
We are now recycling batteries using www.erp-batteries.co.uk.
